How do i change eye colors on photoshop?

so i just bought photoshop yesterday, and it is so confusing! does anybody know how i can change eye colors, and background colors and stuff? How do i change eye colors on photoshop?
There are lots of techniques to do that, to change eye colors you can use the red eye tool, or select the eye change the hue and saturations, every people has there own way. Same with the background color, you can use select the background using select tool or with a mask, for every type of background there's an effective way of changing it. Photoshop is really useful once you get the feel of it. There are lots of tutorials out there for photoshop in the internet. How do i change eye colors on photoshop?
For Photoshope CS3 do this grab the wand tool make sure it's on + get all of the eye you want, then click the circle that is half way shaded, on the bottom of the layers panel. Then choose solid color, choose the color you want then there is a drop down list that says Normal change that to either: soft light, overlay, or color. Notice you are probably going to have to change the color one more time. After you do this go to the filter, blur, gaussin blur, put it at about 0.3 pixels to make it look like it's your normal eye color, doing this will smooth it out and make it look natural. Then save the file and your done!
easy, cut ur colour part of ur eyes to another layer and then u can add filter to that layer

the selection tool by colour is great, u can change the range of colours that it selects also.

i love photoshop, but like you say at first its confusing, but once you get to grips with it then you can get really great results
please tell me when you find out how to change eye color
