A lot of people will say MAC. But here at my work, we use PCs with beefed up RAM and a nice graphics card.





Upgrade the RAM with at least 2GB and graphics card of 256MB RAM on the PC you are using. You can find the model number of the motherboard near the RAM. If you truly want it to work great, get a MAC, if the reason you're against MAC is the incompatibilities, Remember you CAN duel-boot a Macintosh computer with Windows XP now that they use Intel processors.





If you want to go the more difficult way, just run get a 1.9+ gHz processor, 2 gigs of ram, and a video card AND Monitor that support decent resolution. Space to store it all is nice, but between USB2.0, and the cost per gigabyte coming down so fast, you may want to get separate USB 500GB or 1TB drives as you need them and save up front money.





A graphics tablet is also an amazing asset.
